Context of our conversation
Your challenge: turning intern-driven outreach into consistently qualified meetings.
Liana Technologies is a Scandinavian software editor with offices in Scandinavia, France, Germany, Dubai and Hong Kong. You publish software for communication professionals, notably two products: a newsletter platform that helps marketing teams build and send newsletters simply and effectively, and a press relations platform used by PR professionals to reach journalists directly (with a database of around 10,000 journalists in France).
You lead the France and Germany operations. Today, your commercial setup includes a Key Account Manager handling large clients, and a small team of interns in their twenties doing outbound prospecting. Your targeting is already solid: you already know your segments, your pitch, and what a good meeting looks like. The gap is in execution, not strategy. Your interns book around 3 meetings a week each, below your target of 5 (one per day), and more importantly, the quality is inconsistent: too many of the resulting proposals go nowhere.
As you told us clearly: you would rather have one or two well-qualified meetings than five mediocre ones.
Our understanding of your challenges
You are already sophisticated on strategy: your segments, your pitch, and what a good meeting looks like are all clear in your mind. What you are testing is whether an outside team can execute more consistently than your interns, on quality as much as on volume.
Several structuring points came out of our conversation.
Fewer, better-qualified meetings, not more low-quality ones
Your interns already generate around 3 meetings a week each, close to your target of 5. The real issue is downstream: too many of those meetings result in proposals that never convert. You would rather see one or two well-qualified meetings than five that go nowhere.
Entry-level PR tools vs premium newsletter infrastructure
Your press relations tool targets smaller companies and startups that cannot afford a full PR agency but want to test the waters. Your newsletter platform targets the opposite end: large organizations willing to invest in deliverability and quality, often for internal communications. These two audiences call for two different discovery conversations, even if the underlying discipline (right person, right pitch) is the same.
You already know how to build a target list
You already use LinkedIn, Apollo, and other sourcing tools internally, and you already know your ICP well. The gap is not in identifying who to call, it is in executing the outreach itself with enough consistency and discipline to convert interest into a solid, sales-ready meeting.
An English quote to present internationally, and a February target
You asked for a quote in English to share internally with colleagues abroad, covering the full range from 1 to 5 days per week. You mentioned a possible launch around February next year, but were also clear you may come back to us sooner if things move faster internally.
An addition to your existing outreach, not a substitute
You were clear that the goal is to add a third-party team on top of your interns, not to replace them. This means we need to explicitly split the target list from day one, so your interns and our Business Developer are never calling the same accounts at the same time.
What we do
A dedicated team, working from your existing playbook.
A ReCom prospecting team is three roles working together: a Business Developer who makes the calls and handles email and LinkedIn follow-up, a growth marketer who structures and builds the target list, and a project manager who steers the mission and reports on results. We operate exclusively under white label, always in the name of Liana Technologies, never ReCom.
What a qualified meeting means to us
A meeting with the right person, at the right company, who received the pitch you validated, scheduled ideally within two weeks. We deliberately exclude soft outcomes like "call me back in two weeks" from what we count as a booked meeting.
One extra qualification question, systematically
For the newsletter product specifically, we agreed on a standing qualification question: the size of the prospect's own mailing list. A company sending to 10,000 contacts is not pitched the same way as one sending to a million, and this single data point lets the Business Developer adapt the pitch on the call and lets you triage the meeting before it happens. We ask this systematically as part of the discovery, not as an afterthought.
A two-hour kickoff call before we start
Before any call is made, we spend two hours with your team to understand exactly how you want each offer positioned, the language you use, the objections you typically hear, and how to approach both segments: entry-level PR tool buyers and premium newsletter buyers. Since your interns keep prospecting in parallel, this is also where we agree on how to split the target list so both teams stay on separate accounts.
Building the target list, or refining yours
Our growth marketer can build a dedicated list based on your criteria, working alongside the sourcing you already do internally through LinkedIn and Apollo. You review and validate the file before any call is made, removing any account you are already in discussion with.
This preparation phase (kickoff, targeting, scripts) is never billed. Billing only starts once calls actually begin.
Multichannel, with continuous prioritization
We combine email, LinkedIn and phone rather than relying on cold calling alone. Each day, we call first the contacts who engaged the most (clicked a link, opened multiple emails, accepted a LinkedIn invite) rather than dialing the full list once at random. On top of these three core channels, we can also activate parallel dialers to increase daily call volume, or a handwritten postcard service for accounts that are especially hard to reach by phone.
Full transparency and daily reporting
You get an interactive, real-time dashboard connected to our CRM, showing calls made, decision makers reached, meetings booked, and conversion rates broken down by segment or vertical (for example, "this vertical converts at 15%, this one at 25%, let's push harder there"). Every meeting booked comes with a confirmation email and the call recording, so the person taking the meeting can prepare properly.
We also send you the recordings of calls that did not convert, not just the successful ones. This is a deliberate part of our approach: it is how we improve the pitch together, in a genuine co-construction process rather than a black box.
Targets and scope
Two products, two distinct buyer profiles, France and Germany.
Geography France, with a Germany option
This proposal covers the France lot specifically, called by native French-speaking Business Developers. We can also discuss Germany separately, since you have a German office and we have one German-speaking Business Developer available, subject to availability.
Press relations tool Entry-level, smaller structures
Startups and smaller companies that cannot afford a full PR agency but want to test press outreach at low cost. Company size and B2B versus B2C are secondary criteria here; what matters most is budget sensitivity and appetite to "see if it works."
Newsletter platform Large organizations, high deliverability needs
Larger groups for whom newsletter quality and deliverability are business-critical, often for internal communications. Large retail and distribution can also fit, though volume-based pricing sometimes makes this segment more cost-sensitive.
Since your targeting is already mature, we recommend keeping the two products as two distinct tracks within the campaign rather than mixing them in the same call list, so the Business Developer can adapt the pitch cleanly to each audience.
Why our approach fits your context
Comparing several agencies on paper calls for an approach that is at the same time:
That is exactly what our methodology delivers.
An extension of your team, not a subcontractor
We introduce ourselves exclusively under the name Liana Technologies, never ReCom. Nothing is sent or said without your prior approval, which matters even more given this would be your first outbound partnership.
Verifiable meetings, not just a headline number
Every call is recorded. You can listen for yourself and check that a meeting was booked with someone genuinely interested and able to decide, addressing directly the quality issue you described with your current intern-run outreach.
A 3-month engagement, then month to month
We only ask for a 3-month minimum commitment, not a full-year SaaS-style contract. After that, the engagement renews monthly and you can stop with one month's notice.
Nothing billed before the first call
We do not charge anything until prospecting actually starts. You only pay once the target list and scripts have been validated on your side, so there is no upfront risk in testing us.
Track record
1.4 meetings a day on average, across around 250 clients in 2025.
ReCom is based in Lyon, France, and has existed for 13 years. We work with 50 employees, including 30 sedentary Business Developers who handle cold calling, each managing between 1 and 5 clients across every B2B sector, all based in Lyon, all on permanent contracts, none freelance or offshore. In 2025 we supported around 250 clients, generating roughly 3.2 million euros in revenue.
What to realistically expect
A typical day of prospecting is between 70 and 90 calls, reaching 8 to 12 decision makers, and resulting in 1 to 2 booked meetings, alongside 3 "maybe later" contacts and 5 declines. Across all 250 clients combined in 2025, our average was 1.4 meetings per day of prospecting. Some campaigns targeting very senior, hard-to-reach profiles land closer to 0.5 a day; campaigns targeting smaller, more accessible companies can reach 3 or 4 a day. About 20% of argued contacts convert into a booked meeting.
References on your two segments
Here are two campaigns directly comparable to your press relations and newsletter offers:
| Client | Activity | Meetings/day | Days |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acorelis acorelis.com | PR and communications agency for biotech, life sciences, medical and IT, for 19 years | 1.19 | 16 |
| Acorelis (2nd campaign) | Same agency, second campaign | 1.42 | 12 |
| Dialog Insight dialoginsight.com | Canadian SaaS platform for multichannel marketing automation and personalization (email, SMS, push, web) | 0.73 | 11 |
Acorelis is a close match for your press relations tool: a PR agency itself, selling media relations and press communication services. Dialog Insight is the closest reference we have for your newsletter platform, a marketing automation and personalization SaaS. Results on your own campaign will depend heavily on targeting and pitch, refined together during the kickoff.
Full transparency, every day
You get an interactive real-time dashboard connected to our CRM, showing calls made, decision makers reached, meetings booked, and conversion rates broken down by segment and by the function of the person contacted. Every booked meeting comes with a call recording, and so do calls where the prospect declined, since that is how we jointly improve the pitch over time. At the end of each working day, you receive a summary email of everything achieved.
These figures are averages observed across our campaigns. They give an honest sense of scale, not a guaranteed outcome: we commit to the means deployed (call volume, discipline, targeting), never to a specific number of meetings.
Proposed team setup
Three roles working together, calling under the Liana name.
Steering the mission
Leads the kickoff call, writes the call scripts and email templates for both product lines, tracks KPIs, and runs check-ins with your team, weekly at first and then spaced out as the campaign stabilizes.
Building and structuring the target list
Builds the target list on your criteria, or works alongside your existing LinkedIn and Apollo sourcing, and segments it clearly between the press relations and newsletter audiences.
Calling under your name
Calls, emails and follows up on LinkedIn under the Liana Technologies name, with a script fully validated by you in advance, and books meetings directly in your team's calendar.
Start at 2 days a week to cover both product lines properly
Given you are testing two distinct offers (press relations and newsletter), we recommend starting at 2 days of prospecting per week rather than 1: it gives enough volume to run both tracks meaningfully, without over-committing on a first engagement with an outside partner. You can scale up or down from there based on early results, and since you are still finalizing timing internally, we can also prepare the full 1-to-5-day breakdown so you have every option in front of your international colleagues.
Commercial offer
A flat weekly rhythm, never billed per meeting.
Our pricing model
We sell a rhythm of prospecting days per week, not a per-meeting fee. If we book two meetings in a day instead of one, you do not pay more. This is a deliberate choice: we tested a results-based model a couple of years ago and moved away from it, since it creates an incentive to deprioritize harder accounts in favor of easier ones. We prefer a stable, predictable monthly forfait with a dedicated, salaried team behind it.
Full pricing grid, 1 to 5 days a week
As requested, here is the complete breakdown so you can present every option internally:
| Weekly rhythm | Monthly fee (net of VAT) |
|---|---|
| 1 day / week | 2,490 € |
| 2 days / week | 4,490 € |
| 3 days / week | 5,890 € |
| 4 days / week | 6,990 € |
| 5 days / week (full time) | 7,990 € |
The day rate decreases with volume, from roughly €620/day at 1 day a week down to €400/day at full time. This is our full "premium" offer: a dedicated Business Developer plus a Project Manager and a Growth Marketer, fully included at every rhythm, with no extra cost.
2 days of prospecting per week: 4,490 € net / month
Enough volume, roughly 8 working days a month, to work meaningfully through both product lines without over-committing on a first engagement with an outbound partner. Every element (Business Developer, Project Manager, Growth Marketer, French phone number) is included at no extra cost.
A lighter option also exists
We also offer an "operational" formula starting at 1,700 € net / month: simply a Business Developer placed inside your own CRM, working from your own file and your own scripts, with no Project Manager or Growth Marketer support. It is cheaper, but you would then own the coordination and quality control yourself. Given this is your first outbound partnership, we would recommend the full offer above, at least to start.
Terms
All prices are in euros, net of VAT. As a company based outside France, VAT will typically either not apply to this invoice or be handled through the EU B2B reverse-charge mechanism; we will confirm the exact treatment with you when setting up the contract.
Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions you raised on the call.
How is a qualified meeting defined?
A meeting with the right person, at the right company, who received a pitch you validated, scheduled ideally within two weeks. We deliberately exclude soft outcomes like "call me back later" from what counts as a booked meeting, since quality matters more to you than volume.
Do we need to build a target list ourselves?
No, but you do not have to either: we can build a list from scratch based on your criteria, or work alongside the sourcing you already do internally through LinkedIn and Apollo. Either way, you validate the file before any call is made.
Why is there no per-meeting or performance-based pricing?
We work exclusively on a flat weekly forfait, never on a per-meeting fee. We tested a results-based model a couple of years ago: it creates a strong incentive to deprioritize harder accounts in favor of easier, more profitable ones, which is unfair to some clients. Our forfait model funds a stable, salaried, dedicated team instead.
How do you avoid overlapping with our interns' own prospecting?
We split the target list explicitly during the kickoff call: you tell us which accounts your interns are already working, and we build or filter our list to exclude them. Since your interns keep prospecting in parallel, we treat this coordination as an ongoing part of the mission, not a one-time setup step.
What does the two-hour kickoff call actually cover?
Before any call is placed, we spend about two hours with your team understanding how you want each offer positioned, the language and objections specific to each segment, and what a good meeting looks like for each product. This is the step that explains most of a campaign's success.
Can you handle both English and German prospects?
Out of our 30 Business Developers, 2 to 3 are fluent in English and one speaks German, though availability is limited since several clients compete for that capacity. We recommend testing the France market first before expanding, but we can discuss a German track separately if useful.
What is the minimum commitment?
Three months minimum, not a full-year contract like typical SaaS engagements. After that, the mission renews monthly and you can stop with one month's notice.
How much lead time do you need before the first call?
Roughly two weeks between the moment we agree to work together and the first call, to cover the kickoff, the target list, and script validation. If you are targeting a February launch, this leaves ample time; if timing moves up, two weeks is still all we need.
Operational plan
From kickoff to first calls, in about two weeks.
Internal review with your international colleagues
You share this proposal, in English, with the colleagues you need to align with abroad, and compare it against the other agencies you are sourcing.
Two-hour kickoff call
We align on how to position both offers, the language and objections for each segment, and get access to both platforms so our team understands the product before speaking to your prospects.
Setup: target list and scripts
We build or refine the target list, write and validate the call scripts and email templates with you, and prepare the multichannel sequence for both product lines.
Campaign launch
Calls begin, with a weekly check-in at the start so we can adjust the pitch quickly based on the first real conversations. Billing only starts once calls actually begin.
Next steps
Goal: everything in your inbox this afternoon.
This proposal is sent to you by email, in English as requested, with the full 1-to-5-day pricing grid so you can share it with your colleagues abroad.
You mentioned a possible launch around February, but that you would likely reach back out to us before then once things move internally. We will not chase you in the meantime; feel free to reach out whenever it makes sense on your end.
We schedule the two-hour kickoff call and target roughly two weeks from there to have the campaign live, whether that lands before or around February.
